We are consistently the safest skydiving club in Ireland. This is achieved by our adhering to the strictest and highest safety standards. Our Club Safety Standards and Procedures have been approved by Irish Aviation Authority. We are the only skydiving club ever in Ireland who has had our safety standards approved directly by Irish Aviation Authority.
Our Club has been audited by Irish Aviation Authority on several occasions without any issue. The Irish Aviation Authority ceased regulating skydiving safety in Ireland in late 2014. We continue to adhere to the best safety standards for skydiving.
We are calling on Irish Aviation Authority to urgently resume skydiving safety regulation.
Skydiving Safety
Tandem Skydiving is the safest way to experience skydiving for beginners. Our Club skydiving instructors are the most experienced in Ireland. Our Club skydiving equipment is fully certified and is maintained to the best safety standards.

Aircraft Safety
We are the only skydiving centre in Ireland which operates two 8-seater aircraft. This provides us with excellent backup in case one aircraft requires routine or unexpected maintenance. Our aircraft receive routine maintenance by a certified and experienced engineer every 50 hours of flying time.
Our aircraft are fully equipped with engine analyzers which the pilot can rely on during flight. This data is downloaded and monitored to ensure the health of our aircraft engine. We are the only skydiving centre in Ireland who follows this important practice.

Aircraft & Flight Safety
Flights for skydiving are governed by Regulation (EU) 965 of 2012.
We are the only skydiving club in Ireland which operate two 8-seater aircraft. Our modern skydiving aircraft are certified to the highest safety certification available under EU Law which is regulated by the European Aviation Safety Agency. We have logged thousands of flight hours without any safety incidents.
Our pilots the most experienced skydive drop pilots in Ireland having logged thousands of flights hours, take-off and landings without incident. Our pilots have the best safety record.
Our aircraft receive routine maintenance by certified and experienced aircraft engineers after every 50 hours of flight-time or sooner.
We are the aerodrome licence holder for Kilkenny Aerodrome. This licence is issued and renewed annually by Irish Aviation Authority. Kilkenny Aerodrome is the largest privately licenced aerodrome in the country. At 930 meters, its runway is the longest in Ireland which adds additional safety for take-off and landing of our aircraft.
